Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik has agreed to invest in Homee, a Tampa company with an on-demand property maintenance app. With Vinik’s investment, the 1-year-old company will have raised a total of $4.1 million in capital, said Doug Schaedler, Homee co- founder and CEO. Homee has expanded rapidly since Schaedler and co-founder Dave Theus, the company’s chief technology officer, launched the company in July 2016. Homee is in 22 markets, with a plan to be in 30 markets by year end.
