Venture capital feast or famine in Tampa Bay? It depends on who you ask

Homee, a Tampa company described as the “Uber for on-demand home services,” drew $2.8 million in venture capital funding in the second quarter of 2017, and was the sole local recipient of VC funding in the three months ended June 30, according to the PwC/CB Insights MoneyTree Report released early Wednesday.
